Oops, I haven't posted anything to the blog in over 2 months 😅 welp I've kind of been floating around the atmosphere, working at my retail job, having to meal prep (because I can't just cook a quick dish at home when I'm not at home, erg), and trying to figure out what kind of content I want to make for youtube, and HOW to make it.
The recent tiktok ban and then immediate unban has made me want to lean much harder into longform video, and return to blogging. Plus I need to start scripting my youtube videos for better quality, which means I need more writing practice, so here I am, doing the writing thing.
But I'm not here to type up a huge blog post, I'm actually just here to post about two new videos I have up! Everybody kept teasing me about my new microphone looking like a certain kind of vibrating accessory for adults, so I got onto crocheting a wind screen out of faux fur yarn ASAP. I still have a bit of fairy tail fur yarn leftover from previous projects, luckily, so I didn't have to buy anything.
So I made the cover, but to no one's surprise, I felt a deep need to turn my cover into a cute animal. So I did :D
The tutorial is in 2 parts because...I didn't make the bear for a solid 2-3 weeks after the original cover.
Here's part 1:
Here's part 2:
Enjoy! Tag me on social media if you make your own microphone animal. :)
