Crochet Pattern: Hygge Sloth Arms Scarf

My latest crochet pattern is…a sloth! It seems like the internet is a fan of sloths or something.

I came up with this idea a while ago, but my november and december were absolutely NUTS and I had no time to do any pattern creating, aside from doodles on my ipad. And then it took me a while to decide on a yarn. My Joann only carried Red Heart Hygge for a limited time, but every time I touched it I kind of made the Homer Simpson food-drool-noise.

It’s so soft!! I’m a very good girl who doesn’t buy yarn without a plan, so I never purchased any while it was in stores. But I thought the sloth arms scarf would be perfect for the hygge yarn, so I grabbed some from amazon, and hoped the almond color would work! And as you can see, it did!

Supplies

  • 2 skeins of Red Heart Hygge  - you’ll use 1 skein per arm

  • A bit of super bulky yarn for the toes

  • 6mm & 6.5mm hook

  • 1 inch button for fun arm posing

It’s a really straight forward and simple pattern. You’ll end up just crocheting until you run out of yarn, basically, with no set number of rows. You don’t even need to keep track of rows once you finish the first few rows!! It’s a great watching tv project.
