Free crochet pattern: Fable Fur Scrunchie

Heyooo I've got a pattern for you if you've got some leftover Fable Fur yarn! My Fable Scrunchie is probably the biggest scrunchie you've ever seen, and it's super easy to make!

Disclosure: some links below are affiliate links, which means I'll earn a tiny percentage of a purchase you make through them

Supplies

  • About 28 grams of Fable Fur Yarn from WeCrochet
  • 9 inches of skinny elastic (save any soft elastics for making masks! The elastic I used is for apparel-way too rough to wear behind ears)
  • Yarn needle
  • Regular sewing needle and thread

Abbreviations:

ch - chain

sl st - slip stitch

dc - double crochet

Alright, let's get started!

Ch 6

R1: dc into the first ch you made to form a loop, then dc into the next 5 st

R2-R25ish: dc into each st (6) - you want the length to be about 20-22 inches.

Finish off and leave a tail of 12 inches.

Now grab your elastic, cut to 9 inches, and weave it through your scrunchie tube. Pull it through and use your sewing needle & thread to sew the short ends together.

Next, using the 12 inch yarn tail, sew the ends of the scrunchie together.

And...that's it!

So easy! Hope you enjoy your new, giant scrunchie!
