Crochet Pattern Update: Mushroom Hat

Disclosure: some links below are affiliate links, which means I'll earn a tiny percentage of a purchase you make through them, at no additional cost to you.

I'm here to let you all know I've updated my customer-favorite mushroom hat! A new, shiny PDF and new photos! How could I resist taking new photos in my new, mossy, Oregon backyard?!

The photos came out dreamy AS HECK in my opinion. But I am a total sucker for moss. I think I moved to the right place hahaha.

The updated crochet pattern is available here at HELLOhappy, Etsy, Ravelry, Ribblr, and soon at WeCrochet!

If you've previously purchased the pattern, you can absolutely get your hands on the new PDF! I sent out email notifications for ravelry and hellohappy.net buyers, so download links should already be in your email. If not, message me via the contact form here at HELLOhappy and I'll make sure you get it.

If you bought it on etsy, you'll need to message me on etsy, so I can see it in your previous purchases on my end, and send you the new one via etsy message. You might be able to download it from your account also? But I'm not sure if it works that way, so if somebody could try and let me know, that would be great!

I already modified the pattern a bit as I posted it to ribblr, so no update is needed there. :)

The hat works up quick, as you work with 2 strands of worsted weight held together, and offers a lot of creativity in terms of color choice and spot size & placement. I've included a couple different ways you can modify the size of the band as well, which wasn't really described well in the older PDF.

Why use 2 strands of worsted instead of super bulky? The color options! Worsted basically offers every color you could ever want, but most super bulky lines are quite limited, which is why I typically go for worsted whenever possible. I've never tried making this hat in super bulky, but you're certainly allowed to give it a go! :D
