This is actually a remake of an old pattern of mine, originally made with worsted weight yarn: 

 

The original pattern was super cute, so I kept most of the design elements. Though now I'm thinking maybe I should have made the ears slightly bigger and sewn them at the center, like my original. Oh well, an artist can never truly be satisfied haha.

And no, the original pattern is not available, because it's extremely old and poorly written, but if somebody begged me, I would think about fixing it up.

The pattern level is marked as intermediate. A beginner with amigurumi experience could probably manage it though, it uses only single crochet stitches.
