I've ranked this project as advanced beginner. It's really just a whole bunch of single crochet stitches, however it requires precision. Your stitches need to be perfect, your tension must be immaculate. Any flaws will be very noticeable.
Supplies
- WeCrochet CotLin (dk weight 3) yarn in 3 colors - 1 skein of each
- Curio #3 (crochet thread size 3) yarn in black
- 2mm and 3.5mm hooks
- yarn needle
- cotton fabric
- sewing machine or a needle & thread (plus pins/clips)
- blocking materials
- a ruler
I made a video tutorial on how I sewed in the fabric lining. I ended up doing a mixture of machine sewing and hand sewing, since the crochet bag stretches and the cotton lining doesn't! It's kind of annoying, but necessary.
