So apparently I have two modes now: frog and bear. That's it. I do frogs. And bears. And you know what? I'm fine with that. I'm in my happy place.

It's been quite a while since I posted a truly simple pattern. Lately they've all been so complex! But this one looks like something I might have designed 5 years ago.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the moss stitch, that's what I used to make the hat, hence the name, "mossy bear beanie."
Because as always, I'm so very creative with my crochet pattern names.
Supplies
- Bulky (weight 5) yarn for the hat and the pom pom
- 6.5mm, and 11.5mm hooks
- yarn needle
- optional: 85mm pom pom maker
I've classified this as an advanced beginner pattern. It's quite simple, even a more beginner-beginner could make this if they were comfortable trying something new. Now I didn't include instructions on how to make a pom pom, because...honestly there are 80 bajillion tutorials on this already, it seemed silly to make one for this. And if you just buy a pom pom maker, they're literally so easy to use.
