Crochet Pattern: Crossbody Mushroom Bag

I've received a lot of messages asking if there was a video available to explain further how to change colors and carry yarn while crocheting a single crochet foundation row (a part of this pattern), so I decided to make one! Scroll down to see it.

New pattern alert! I decided to make a new mushroom bag! Way the heck back in 2014 I published a 3D drawstring type of bag, and it never was very popular. Here she is, in all her glory:

I mean...let's not talk about the styling OR the potato image quality, okay? LOL. Honestly, the idea was cute, but I get why it didn't ever catch on.

Since I updated my mushroom hat PDF, I've had mushrooms on the brain, so I thought I should make a new mushroom bag, but take it in a different direction.

And here she is! I decided to make a flat bag, with raised stitch details. And I think it turned out flippin' awesome!

This is my most complex pattern to date! It uses foundation rows, fpdc, surface crochet, there's a zipper! I've decided to list my mushroom bag for $6 instead of my usual $5, because I believe it's worth the extra dollar. Hopefully this decision won't come back to bite me in the butt lol, I honestly spent a long time wavering between 5 and 6, which is so silly to think about. What's a dollar? But $5 is such an easy purchase. You don't even think about it. Once you go up from there, you stop and think about it. But I'm sticking to my guns, I think this is a $6 pattern.
